We’ll explore various aspects of community life in the Räume project.
There are several topics to choose from. We’ll determine the focus based on the participants’ interests. We won’t be able to cover all the topics.
Schedule:
4:00 p.m. Arrival: Who are we today (participants)? Interests, topic selection 4:20 PM Project tour + short break
5:00 PM Input (we can cover 4 out of 8 topics) + break
6:30 PM Discussion (delving deeper into individual topics, questions)
7:00 PM End
7:15 PM Top your own pizza from the clay oven and eat (donation-based)
Topics to choose from for input sessions (15 minutes each):
Farm tour (15–40 minutes)
Energy concept (very brief overview)
Ownership issues: Rental housing syndicate, legal structure
Bidding round: Budget preparation
Bidding round: Process
Values and bylaws, typical topics of debate
Organizational structure: Consensus-based decision-making
Organizational structure: Plenary sessions and working groups
Financing: Direct loans
Day-to-day practice with shared spaces
Location:
Lüneburgerstrasse 23, 21335 Lüneburg; park outside in front of the barn; enter the courtyard through the red gate. Turn right and walk along the barn’s lean-to roof; at the end, keep right into the room with many windows.
Language:
The presentation will be held in german, a translated english version of the presentation can be shown parallel.
Barriers:
The area will not be paved, not all areas are accessable with the Wheelchair. Toilet ist wheelchairfriendly. The room is in the Groundfloor but the entrance has a stair of 20cm.
The room is not heated.
The speaker is a cisgender man, heteronormative, white, and able-bodied.
