The future we need starts with the buildings we already have. Stop demolition now!

Every day, dozens of buildings are demolished  across Norway, and with each one of them we lose more than just materials. We lose embodied carbon, social networks, human connection, architectural and historical value.

Together with other European ACAN chapters, we are flipping this year's Action Week slogan "Building The Future We Need" into a counter-narrative: "Saving The Future We Already Have".

To challenge Norway's demolition default, we're flooding cities across the country with posters, reaching beyond architects and built environment professionals to the general public, media, and decision-makers. Posters will appear everywhere, locally and nationally, on the streets and online, shared by us and by the public. So that those fueling the demolition default can not look away.

The poster will be available online for anyone in Norway to print and hang.
