Baut keinen Scheiß - A closer look on Hamburg's architecture

We invite you to join us on a city walk to explore the architecture of the HafenCity. We’ll introduce selected buildings and talk about our ten demands for a transition of the building sector.

As part of the European Action Week we offer a city walk through the HafenCity in Hamburg. The idea links back to the Hamburg Summer of Architecture (dt.: "Hamburger Architektur Sommer") festival in 2023 as well as the Architects For Future national campaign "Baut keinen Scheiß" (en.: Don't mess up).

Three years later, we’re revisiting the central theme of that project: The focus is on a selection of buildings that will be analyzed in terms of climate-friendly, resource-efficient, and socially responsible construction. We’ll discuss the extent to which Architects for Future’s ten demands have been incorporated into planning and implementation since —and where structural shortcomings still exist.

The walk will be held in German language.
