10 Raised Beds Mark the Beginning
With soil, wood and collective effort, the first visible infrastructure for the Green Classroom Stuttgart is taking shape. As part of the European Action Week, we built a total of ten raised beds, filled them with soil donated by VfB Stuttgart and planted them.
The raised beds do more than bring the first greenery to the site. They serve several purposes at once: as a living boundary, they prevent cars from entering the site while also creating space for plants, shared learning and encounters.
This marks an important first step – and the raised beds will continue to grow and evolve. In upcoming activities, we will decorate, plant, nurture and care for them together. Step by step, we are creating a place that many people can actively help shape – transforming an open space into the Green Classroom.
