During the European Action Week we from Jordgruppa took local action by cycling through Oslo with Plants on Wheels - a bike trailer we made from reclaimed material to transport soil and plant seeds. Every time the sun was out we were out on the streets distributing small packs with soil, seeds and instructions on how to plant them to anyone who wanted to help us make the city a little greener. As most of our collective work, this action focused on addressing the progressing climate crisis on a small, local and interactive scale by spreading joy and advocating for biodiversity in our cities. The week was filled with inspiring conversations, the sharing of knowledge between young and old and forming new connections with people working toward similar goals. Shortly after the European Action Week Plants on Wheels was exhibited in the exhibition What if landscape comes first? as part of the Oslo Arkitektur Triennale 2026.
