The screening of the film Brocéliande: Le pays des Paillourtes was a great experience and an excellent way to kick off the year for our association, TyCase.

The film explored a wide range of topics, from construction techniques to the personal aspirations of those who live in and take part in the building projects. These themes were of particular interest to the architecture students, as well as to the rest of the audience. Following the screening, a discussion was held with Nicolas Straseele (the director), Gurun Manrot (a paillourte builder), and Servane Halem from NDL. They answered questions from the audience and helped deepen the discussion around lightweight and environmentally responsible construction.

The evening was also an opportunity for TyCase to meet other local actors involved in sustainable construction and to connect with the wider initiative Building the Future We Need.
