Stories of the Heat
This summer was hot – all across Europe. What were the hot days like in the terraced houses of Aubervilliers? Were the garden terraces and communal gardens there cool oases? Where was the heat most bearable? And what other heat-induced hallucinations flickered through the neighbourhood? This workshop invites residents and anyone else interested to capture their experiences in writing, pictures or video. Writing and drawing materials, as well as a camera station, will be provided. Anyone who wishes to can take part in some short exercises to get the writing flowing. Feel free to bring your smartphones!
