The film 'Toucher terre' showcases the ongoing revival of raw earth construction, a material as ancient as architecture itself. Experts in archaeology, materials science, architecture, and construction techniques reveal the diverse facets of earth buildings, reflecting the progress of a so-called 'participatory' construction site. Apprentices discover how to shape an earth wall by hand, adding a little straw and water found on-site. The film is distributed by Jupiter Film (https://www.jupiter-films.com).

The screening is offered free of charge, subject to seat availability in the theater, and will be followed by a Q&A session at the end.

Le film Toucher terre présente le renouveau en cours de la construction en terre crue, un matériau aussi ancien que l'architecture elle-même. Des experts en archéologie, en science de la matière, en architecture et en technique de construction dévoilent les diverses facettes des édifices en terre, en écho avec l'avancée d'un chantier dit « participatif ».
