We are a citizens’ association born of the European program Life letsgo4climate ( https://www.life-letsgo4climate.eu/ ) relayed by Bourges Plus on our territory. This program aimed at the emergence of citizen collectives in energy sobriety and renewable energy production.
Sensitized to housing insulation issues, we have formed an association for the promotion of self-insulation accompanied, made of bio-based materials: ACTION – ISOLONS!
The association aims to volunteer to accompany the owners wishing to isolate their own housing. All types of insulation work can be engaged: insulation of attic and roof, insulation of interior and exterior walls, insulation of the basement.
- we put these owners in contact with the local actors of the energy renovation (diagnostics) and companies (directing councils),
- specialized partner companies support the start-up of the site with their know-how, guaranteeing the quality of the work.
- we recommend the use of biobased materials, for their environmental quality but also for the comfort brought (summer and winter in particular).
The idea is also to develop a network of knowledge and mutual aid, like the post-war ''Beavers'' who built their own homes.
