The European Action Week opens up space for many different kinds of contributions, including discussions, workshops, neighbourhood activities, cultural formats, walks, screenings, public engagement and performances or interventions in public space.

Numerous actors from around 15 countries are part of the European Action Week–making transformative change visible across Europe: Commited individuals and artists, local initiatives and collectives, regional or transnational working groups, associations, universities and companies showcase ways for more just and sustainable ways of living and building.

The European Action Week will take place from 5 to 13 September 2026. It is hosted by Architects for Future and conceptually developed together with initiatives, organisations and individuals from the European Network for a Just Building Transition.

As Architects for Future (A4F), we are committed to engage us for a just climate transformation of the construction industry.

We work within and alongside the construction industry, are involved in voluntary and charitable work – both within the movement and as an association – and are committed to bringing about sustainable change in the construction sector.

We are an international, non-political, autonomous and democratically organised body. Our work is aimed at professionals in the construction industry, policymakers and society as a whole.
